Dr. Michael Garcia is board certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology. He attended Stanford University, receiving his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biological Sciences while becoming a three-time All-American track athlete. Dr. Garcia earned his Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School before returning to the Bay Area for his internship and residency. He was the chief resident of radiation oncology at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Garcia, who is originally from New Mexico, moved to Arizona to start his clinical practice in 2018.
Dr. Garcia has authored dozens of peer-reviewed publications in the fields of radiation oncology and neuro-oncology. He has been an investigator in numerous research studies in the brain tumor space. He is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO), and the North American Skull Base Society (NASBS).
Dr. Garcia joined GT Medical Technologies in 2023. In this new role, Dr. Garcia will expand the clinical study pipeline, support research and development, and lead medical affairs.
