James Curlin is a Scientist II at GT Molecular since April 2023, with a solid background in cell and molecular biology. Prior to this role, James completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from April 2021 to August 2023, after serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Colorado State University from August 2015 to April 2021. James holds a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Colorado State University (2015-2020) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a concentration in Cell and Molecular Biology from Trinity College-Hartford (2011-2015). Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Supplemental Instruction Leader at Trinity College, as well as work as a Genetics Laboratory Research Assistant, where James studied molecular interactions related to Drosophila melanogaster wing development and developed novel structures of Notch ligands.
