Jovan Dragelj

Jovan Dragelj is a Senior Scientist at HotSpot Therapeutics, Inc., specializing in computational chemistry and drug discovery since February 2023. Prior to this role, Jovan served as a Lecturer in environmental chemistry at Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin from October 2021 to September 2023, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Technische Universität Berlin within the UniSysCat Excellence Cluster from May 2019 to December 2022. Jovan's experience also includes being part of the SFB 1078 research group at Freie Universität Berlin from April 2014 to April 2019 and teaching chemistry at the British International School Belgrade and a mathematical high school in Belgrade from 2011 to 2014, where recognition was received for outstanding student preparation in a state competition. Jovan holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry from Freie Universität Berlin and multiple degrees in Chemistry from the University of Belgrade, culminating with a BSc in 2011.
