Tayfun Yalçınkaya

Tayfun Yalçınkaya has a diverse work experience in the field of Big Data and Analytics. Tayfun is currently working as a Big Data and Analytics Manager at GTech. Prior to this, they worked at Vodafone as a Bigdata Systems Administration Expert, where they gained expertise in open source technologies and Big Data Systems administration. Tayfun was responsible for data migration and Cloudera installation.

Before Vodafone, Tayfun worked at Detaysoft as an R&D Engineer. Tayfun also served as a Big Data Consultant and R&D Specialist at Turkgen, where they gained extensive experience in the field. In addition, they had teaching roles as a Guest Lecturer at Bahcesehir University, and as a Research Assistant at Kadir Has University and Isik University. Tayfun started their career as a programcı at PIOMAK AUTOMATION AND ELEKTROMECHANICAL WORKS.

Tayfun Yalçınkaya has a strong educational background in computer engineering and information technologies. Tayfun received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Kadir Has University from 2013 to 2019. Prior to their doctoral studies, they earned a Master's degree in information technologies from Işık Üniversitesi, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Tayfun also holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the same institution, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Tayfun Yalçınkaya has an Associate's degree in Computer Programming from Trakya University, where they attended from 1998 to 2000.

In terms of certifications, they obtained a Cisco Trainer Certification from Cisco in July 2011.
