Faramarz Hashemi

Faramarz Hashemi has an extensive work experience in product design and creative roles. Faramarz is currently working as a Product Design Lead at GTreasury, where they focus on designing products and practicing Human-Centred Design. Previously, they served as the Head of Product Design and Creative at Cybrid Technology Inc, a B2B startup providing crypto banking-as-a-service. Before that, they worked at CIBC Capital Markets as a Design Director and Product Design Lead, where they were responsible for conceptualizing and delivering high fidelity applications and processes. Faramarz also has experience as a Resident Artist and Experience Producer at Camp Reset, Design Lead and Senior Product Designer at Nextopia Software, User Experience Designer at Tetrad Digital Signage, Contract Designer at Jet Cooper, and UI/UX Designer and Partner at Mazdaq Communications Co. Faramarz began their career as a Web Designer at the University of Toronto and worked as a self-employed UI Designer.

Faramarz Hashemi completed a short-term course in Interaction Design at Cooper U in 2014. Prior to that, they studied Digital Enterprise Management, Communications, Culture and Information Technology at the University of Toronto Mississauga starting from 2003. Faramarz also obtained certifications in Duolingo German Fluency: Beginner (Estimated) in 2016 and Interaction Design from Cooper in 2014.
