Matthew Burgess

Matthew Burgess has a diverse range of work experience in the treasury and financial services industry. Matthew has held various roles in different companies, starting with Aston Villa Football Club where they worked as a Sales & Marketing Assistant. Matthew then joined IT2 Treasury Solutions, initially as a Marketing Executive, then later transitioned to become a Client Relationship Manager and Sales Manager for the UK, Ireland, and Benelux regions. Following the acquisition of IT2 by ION Trading, Matthew became the Head of Sales for the EMEA region. Matthew then moved on to SunGard as a Sales Manager for Treasury & Payments in the UK & Ireland, before joining GTreasury as the VP of Business Development for EMEA. In their current role, Matthew is responsible for business development, pre-sales, and account management for GTreasury's EMEA operations.

Matthew Burgess attended John Taylor High School from 1995 to 2002. Afterwards, they pursued a BSc (Hons.) degree in Managerial & Administrative Studies (with professional placement) at Aston Business School from 2002 to 2006.
