Bastien Aerni

Bastien Aerni is an experienced executive with a strong background in strategy and technology adoption, currently serving as Vice President at GTT since June 2018. Aerni successfully led the integration of a separated business back into the global organization, ensuring minimal customer impact and limited personnel turnover. This role involves overseeing a cross-functional team in Europe, including sales and various technical managers. Prior to GTT, Aerni held several leadership positions at Interoute from 2006 to May 2018, where responsibilities included establishing a new business unit and developing a go-to-market strategy focused on professional services. Aerni's earlier career includes key account management and sales roles at Bechtle and Cross Systems. Aerni holds a Master’s degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Geneva.
