Rik Habex

Rik Habex is an accomplished ICT consultant and owner of IB WORX BV since January 2008. Rik currently serves as Technical Lead/Architect for Unified Communications at Toyota Motor Europe and as UC Consultant - Technical Design Authority at GTT, focusing on the design and operation of global UC solutions. As a KNX Integrator and Smart Building Automation engineer at intect, Rik contributes to innovative automation solutions. A part-time Network & Security Engineer/Architect for ILIAS Solutions since 2005, Rik has a strong focus on secure network design. Additionally, as Managing Partner at wizQIT BV, Rik oversees ICT infrastructure services and partnerships with major technology firms. Previous roles include ICT Infrastructure Consultant at Proximus and KBC Bank & Verzekering, and Infrastructure Architect for Messaging at BNP Paribas Fortis. Rik holds an MSc in Industrial Sciences from Groep T and a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from Hasselt University, along with certifications in KNX automation and private piloting.
