Valerio Caponi

Valerio Caponi is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in hybrid cloud engineering and systems architecture. Currently serving as a Hybrid Cloud Engineer at the European Space Agency (ESA) since February 2021, Valerio is responsible for managing private and public cloud environments, securing deployments, and automating mass deployments with Ansible. Previously held positions include Linux Infrastructure Manager at Médecins Sans Frontières, where Valerio designed and optimized the Linux/BSD architecture, and System Architect at KENDAXA Group, overseeing system design and security. Valerio's technical expertise spans various technologies including VMware, Linux distributions, Azure, AWS, and network security protocols. Previous roles also include network engineering at DHL IT Services and service engineering at Skype, along with founding a company focused on network design. Valerio's educational background includes attendance at Pirandello Scientific High School.
