Matthew Kirk is currently the President at GUAM MICRONESIA MISSION OF SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS. Prior to this, they were the VP of Administration at MONTANA CONFERENCE OF SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS INC from February 2018 to July 2021. Before that, they were a pastor at CENTRAL CALIFORNIA CONFERENCE OF SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS from November 2012 to February 2018.

Mr. Kirk's career started at Yavapai County Sheriff where they worked as a Communications Specialist from November 2007 to May 2010. Matthew then went on to work at SOULS-West as the Business Manager from August 2004 to June 2006. At SOULS-West, they were responsible for the financial operation of the school which included areas such as payroll reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing. Matthew also ensured that the school was on track to meet its financial goals and obligations, developed and implemented budgets, conducted financial performance evaluations and projections, prepared and presented reports for senior management, and ensured that laws, policy and procedures were complied with.

Matthew Kirk earned their Doctor of Ministry in Leadership from Andrews University. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program at Andrews University. Matthew Kirk's undergraduate education was in Business Management with a focus in Business Administration and Management from Western Governors University. Additionally, they have completed coursework in Literature and Personal Ministries from SOULS-West and Theology / Pre-Med from Pacific Union College.
