Johan Barnard

Johan Barnard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public affairs and financial counseling. Currently serving as the head of international public affairs at APG since September 2015, Barnard also acts as a mediator for the Ministry of Defence and has been a member of the WSW objections committee since June 2018. Previous roles include financial counselor and deputy director at the Ministry of Finance, where responsibilities encompassed foreign financial relations and international tax. Additionally, Barnard held an interim position as project director at the Ministry of Transport. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Fiscal Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam and being a doctorandus in public law from Leiden University.
