Mari Viramontes

Mari Viramontes is an experienced professional currently serving as an Auxiliary Board Member and Co-Chair at the National Museum of Mexican Art, where responsibilities include fundraising and community engagement, along with organizing signature events such as Dia de los Muertos: Love Never Dies Ball and Copitas de Sol. With a long tenure at Guaranteed Rate, Mari holds the dual roles of Executive Assistant to Ben Cohen and Operations Assistant/Closing Coordinator, ensuring the efficient processing and closing of mortgage loans. Previous experience includes mentoring high school students at Erie Neighborhood House, working as an In-Person Counselor at Aunt Martha's Youth Service Center, and various roles in retail and office support positions. Mari holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a concentration in Painting and a minor in Latino/a Studies.
