Currently serving as EVP of Financial Strategy at Rate since April 2025, Flanagan previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at loanDepot from June 2017 to August 2023, overseeing financial reporting and statements. Flanagan's experience also includes roles as Executive Vice President at Carrington Mortgage Services and Consultant - Principal Finance at Waterfall Asset Management, where responsibilities encompassed sourcing and structuring corporate debt and equity investments, along with conducting market analysis in the mortgage sector. As the CEO and Founder of Cove Financial Group from August 2009 to December 2014, Flanagan developed the Mortgage Alternative Program, successfully launching it across 16 states. Flanagan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Monmouth College, earned in June 1986.
