Mike Merritt

Mike Merritt has a strong background in the banking industry, with experience in various leadership roles. Mike served as the Market President at Guaranty Bank & Trust since 2015. Prior to that, they worked as the EVP at Preston State Bank from 2011 to 2015. From 2001 to 2011, they held the position of EVP at Park Cities Bank. Mike also served as the VP Private Banking at Bank of Texas from 1997 to 2001 and as the AVP at First National Bank of Park Cities from 1991 to 1997. Before entering the banking field, Mike worked as an Asset Manager at First Preston Management from 1989 to 1991 and as a Real Estate Broker at The Weatherford Company from 1985 to 1989.

Mike Merritt attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
