Richard Agala is a finance professional with extensive experience in wholesale banking and treasury management. Currently serving as the Head of the Wholesale Banking Division and Treasurer at Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited since November 2011, Richard oversees treasury functions and the financial institutions portfolio. Prior roles include Head of Financial Institutions & Custody Services, where key responsibilities involved business development, client relationship management, deal origination, and credit analysis. Previously, Richard worked as an Institutional and Retail Sales Manager at IC Securities, securing substantial institutional funds and managing key public mandates. Richard holds a Master's degree in Finance from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Ghana. Early career experience includes a role as a Community Affairs Analyst at Golden Star Resources Ltd.
