Kimberly Banks

Kimberly Banks possesses extensive experience in medical affairs and genetic counseling, currently serving as Vice President of Medical Affairs at Guardant Health since March 2015. Kimberly's career includes roles as Senior Director and Director of Medical Affairs for BioPharma Collaborations, and in medical marketing. Prior to Guardant Health, Kimberly directed the Genetic Specialists department and marketing efforts at Ambry Genetics. Additional experience includes managerial positions in oncology services and multidisciplinary center operations at St. Jude Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospital, respectively. Kimberly contributed as invited faculty at the City of Hope Intensive Course in Cancer Genetics and began a career in genetic counseling at City of Hope. Educational qualifications include a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing and Healthcare Administration from the University of California, Irvine, and an MS in Genetic Counseling from California State University, Northridge.
