Hugh Kenworthy III

Mr. Kenworthy is a founding partner of Guardian and now serves as a senior advisor to Guardian providing support responsibilities across several functions including sourcing, underwriting and governance of existing portfolio companies.

Prior to founding Guardian, Hugh spent his business career working with small- to medium-size companies, originally as a lender, then as an owner/operator and more recently as an investor/owner. He was President of The Brynavon Group, Inc., a private equity leveraged buyout group that acquired manufacturing companies; Managing General Partner of Tobias Knoblauch Private Bank, a $150 million deposit bank; and a lender with Fidelity Bank, with oversight responsibility for a commercial loan portfolio of $100 million.

Hugh earned his BA from Trinity College and served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.
