Al Powell

Al Powell has extensive experience in the IT industry, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Technical Lead for Cloud Infrastructure Operations at Guardian Life since May 2014, Al previously held significant roles at Dow Jones & Co., Inc., including IT Manager from 1999 to May 2014 and Systems Administrator from 1996 to 1998. Additional experience includes Project Manager at The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. (1998-1999) and Systems Administrator at Cascade Systems, Inc. (1994-1996). Al began the professional journey as an Editor at Management Information Corporation (1992-1994) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned between 1987 and 1992.
