Ritesh Kumar

Ritesh Kumar is an experienced data science professional currently serving as the Head of Data Science at Guardian Life since July 2024. Prior to this role, Ritesh held the position of Chief Solutions Officer at Circlebase, where responsibilities included building a Deep Learning Center of Excellence (COE) and developing AI-driven solutions. Ritesh has also served as Vice President at both Apexon and Karvy Analytics Limited, leading data science practices and contributing to significant analytics project deliveries and product developments. Earlier in the career, Ritesh held director-level and vice president roles at SCIO Health Analytics and SHARE Microfin Ltd, focusing on analytics solutions and health insurance product design, respectively. Ritesh began the professional journey as a Marine Engineer at OMI. Ritesh's educational background includes an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Indian School of Business, advanced studies in Business Analytics at IIT Kharagpur, and a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
