Shiney Prasad

Shiney Prasad currently serves as the Country Head for Guardian Life in India since August 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Partner and Sector Leader for Insurance at Ernst & Young from July 2022 to August 2023, where Shiney advised insurance and reinsurance clients throughout India. Shiney spent over a decade at Sun Life, holding various leadership positions, including President Digital Enterprise for Asia, responsible for regional business and technology functions, and Senior Vice President of Enterprise Services and Digital Business Initiatives, focusing on digital strategy and efficiency across eight Asian markets. Earlier, Shiney held multiple leadership roles at AIG between 2003 and 2010, overseeing operations and shared services in Malaysia, India, and the Philippines. Shiney's career in financial services spans over 30 years, and it includes various roles with top financial companies from 1990 to 2003. Shiney holds a Master’s Degree in International Business and Trade from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University.
