Soumik Mandal

Soumik Mandal is a Senior ML/AI Scientist at Guardian Life since March 2024, specializing in foundation models across AI, ML, NLP, and Vision. Prior to this role, Mandal was a Scientist in AI/NLP/Vision at Amazon from January 2022 to January 2024, where work was deployed in seven languages across over 15 countries. Mandal also gained experience as an AI Research Intern at Accenture AI in 2021, focusing on Natural Language Processing and deep learning. Earlier, Mandal served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University, covering advanced topics in Machine Learning, NLP, and Computer Vision.
