Dr. Manisha Ganguly is an experienced investigations correspondent and visual forensics lead at The Guardian, specializing in the intersection of technology and human rights, particularly in war crimes investigations. As an advisory board member for the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, Dr. Ganguly contributes to a new journalism program focusing on open-source investigative journalism. Additionally, Dr. Ganguly serves as a visiting lecturer at prestigious institutions including Princeton University and has held various teaching roles at the University of Westminster, where Dr. Ganguly also conducted groundbreaking doctoral research on the impact of automation and open-source intelligence on journalism. Notable previous roles include investigative producer and senior OSINT analyst at BBC Global News, and digital news reporter at CNN. Dr. Ganguly holds a PhD and MPhil in Political Economy from the University of Westminster, along with an MA/MSc in Multimedia Journalism.
