Rachel White

Rachel White is an accomplished leader in philanthropic-supported journalism and partnerships, currently serving as President at theguardian.org and Executive Vice President of Philanthropic and Strategic Partnerships at Guardian News & Media since November 2014. In their role, Rachel White creates and leads globally impactful journalism projects and partnerships. Prior to these positions, Rachel White spent nearly nine years at New America as Executive Vice President, where significant revenue growth was achieved, and initiatives like New America Live and New America NYC were launched. Rachel White's career began at the World Wildlife Fund, where the role of Director of Major Gifts was held for over a decade. Rachel White holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Thought and Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
