Robert Hahn

Robert Hahn holds extensive experience in business affairs and licensing within the media and music industries. Currently serving as the Director of Business Affairs & Licensing at The Guardian since January 2023, Robert previously held positions at Guardian News & Media Ltd as Director of Business Affairs & Platform Partnerships and Rights & Licensing Director from September 1999 to March 2023. Robert's early career includes a role as Copyright Assistant at Schott Musik International GmbH / Universal Edition A.G., where responsibilities included international negotiation of music copyrights and auditing royalty statements. Robert holds a 2:1 degree in German and French from the University of Southampton, completed in 1994.
