Lisa Mitchell

Lisa Mitchell is a seasoned educator and project manager currently serving as the NASA STEM Education Project Manager and NASA Education Specialist II at Guardians of Honor, LLC since February 2023. With prior experience as the STEM Engagement Coordinator for NASA's NCAS program at Oklahoma State University from September 2019 to February 2023, Lisa has focused on engaging community college students in real NASA challenges. Before this, Lisa spent eight years at David G. Millen Middle School as a single-subject Science Educator, recognized as Teacher of the Year for 2017-2018. Lisa holds a Master of Education in Instructional Design and Technology from the American College of Education, a STEM Education certificate, a teaching credential in single-subject science from Brandman University, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology from California State University-Northridge.
