Al Pita

Al Pita is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in medical management and business development. Currently serving on the Member Advisory Board at Guardiant Health since November 2019, Al previously held the position of Senior Medical Director for Business Development, Experience, and Physician Recruitment at OptumCare California from January 2019 to April 2022. Al's tenure at OptumCare Medical Group spanned over a decade, during which roles included Director of Recruitment and Business Development and President. As the Founder, Vice President, and Executive Chairman of Memorial HealthCare IPA from July 1998 to April 2011 and the Founder and President of Centers for Family Medicine from March 1994 to April 2011, Al demonstrated a commitment to improving healthcare delivery. Al holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, San Francisco and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Loyola Marymount University.
