Sarah Haanstra

Sarah Haanstra is an experienced leader in community health and social planning, currently serving as the Director at Guelph Community Health Centre since March 2022. Previously, Sarah held the position of Manager at Toward Common Ground from October 2014 to January 2023, where the focus was on utilizing local data and research to foster collective action addressing community needs. Additionally, Sarah has worked as a Consultant for various non-profit organizations and served as the Social Planning Director at United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin from August 2007 to April 2013. Sarah's early career involved direct service provision in child and youth organizations and academic pursuits, culminating in a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western University.
