Jennifer Murphy-Novak Rn

Jennifer Murphy-Novak RN, MN has over 20 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Jennifer is currently serving as the Senior Director - Patient Services at Guelph General Hospital. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director - Medicine and Stroke Programs at the same hospital. In addition to their hospital work, Jennifer served as an Adjunct Faculty - Lecturer at Seneca Polytechnic. Previously, they worked at Headwaters Health Care Centre, where they held various positions such as Acting Director - Acute Care Programs, Manager - ICU and Acute Medicine, and Manager - Complex Continuing Care, Rehabilitation & Professional Practice. Jennifer also worked as a Professional Practice Coordinator and a Clinical Resource Nurse - Corporate Education at the same institution. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Headwaters Health Care Centre. Jennifer also has experience as an Adjunct Faculty - Clinical at Georgian College and as an After Hours Manager at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. Jennifer began their nursing career at Nova Scotia Health Authority and St. Michael's Hospital as a Registered Nurse.

Jennifer Murphy-Novak has a diverse educational background that includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Carleton University, which they pursued from 2023 to 2025. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Nursing (MN) degree from Dalhousie University between 2007 and 2013. Jennifer also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree from Toronto Metropolitan University, which they completed from 2003 to 2006. Jennifer began their nursing education by obtaining an RN Diploma from George Brown College in 2001.
