Alberto Furlan

Alberto Furlan is an experienced trade compliance professional with extensive expertise in international trade management across the Americas. As the Americas Trade Compliance Manager at Guerbet since August 2013, Alberto oversees all trade compliance activities for the region. Prior to this role, Alberto served as the Latin America Trade Manager at Intel Corporation, where responsibilities included foreign trade zone administration and compliance strategy. Alberto's career also includes entrepreneurship as the proprietor of LBS Logistics Business Solutions and key positions at JPMorgan Chase and Nortel Networks, where significant accomplishments include designing a $200M customs compliant import strategy for Trinidad and Tobago. Alberto began their career in trade management with roles at MRW Venezuela and DHL Airways, where daily import and export operations were managed. Alberto holds a BA in Foreign Trade from IUNP and has a background in languages from St. Mary's College.
