Dan Holland

Principal Design Engineer at Guerrilla RF

Dan Holland has over 20 years of experience in the field of RF engineering. Theircareer began in 1995 with a co-op position at Ericsson, where they worked on the radio RF hardware team to convert existing AMPS/DAMPS phones to trunked-radio handheld devices. In 1996, they joined Raytheon as an RF Design Engineer II, where they worked with front-end receiver designs. Dan then transitioned to RF Test Engineer I, developing automated test routines for both engineering development and mass production. In 2001, Dan joined RFMD as a Staff Applications Engineer, where they served as a technical consultant for GSM/EDGE product proposals and development roadmap. Dan was then promoted to Applications Engineering Group Leader and then to Senior Applications Engineer, where they created product specifications based on customer and system (3GPP, etc) requirements. In 2011, Dan moved to Skyworks Solutions, Inc. as a Staff Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for system analysis of RF front end components for cellular radios. Finally, in 2020, Dan joined Guerrilla RF as a Principal Design Engineer.

Dan Holland received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida in 1996. Dan then went on to receive their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida in 2001.
