Genaro Ortiz

Genaro Ortiz is a Technical Designer at GUESS?, Inc. since August 2022, where responsibilities include collaborating with designers and buyers to develop designs, tech packs, and garment specifications to ensure proper fit and construction. Genaro also creates and maintains tech pack specifications, including technical sketches and graded measurements using PLM (enovia). In addition to current work, Genaro operates Globeman as a passion project and freelance company since February 2020. Previous experience includes serving as Design Coordinator at The Elder Statesman from October 2020 to November 2021 and as Tech Designer/Product Developer at Los Angeles Apparel from January 2018 to September 2020. Genaro holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from California State University, Long Beach, earned between 2015 and 2018.
