Sergei has been working in the IT industry since 2010 when he joined EC Credit Control (NZ) Ltd as an Information Technology Specialist. In 2017, Sergei joined Guesty as a Customer Support Team Lead and later became a Customer Solution Team Leader.

Sergei attended the Eastern Institute of Technology in Napier from 2010 to 2013, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Networking and Telecommunications. In 2018-2019, Sergei attended John Bryce and received a QA Software Testing certification from ISTQB.
