Shlomi Segal

Shlomi Segal has a long and varied work experience. From 1997 to 2001, they were the Vice President & Project Manager of eServices at TD Waterhouse Group, Inc., where they managed a staff of developers and systems engineers and led all developmental aspects of the eServices department. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as a Freelance Applications Developer, developing worldwide websites and applications. From 2005 to 2011, they were the Senior Programmer/Development Architect at the National Audubon Society, where they developed internal applications from concept to deployment. From 2011 to 2016, they were the Senior Engineer at Optimatic Media, Inc., where they architected conversion and re-write of .NET C# video ads delivery systems to .NET Core conforming to IAB Open-RTB specs. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Developer at ActiveTrail. Shlomi is currently a Senior Backend Developer at Guesty, a role they have held since 2022.

Shlomi Segal's education history includes a Retention Certificate in Engineering from CUNY New York City College of Technology in 1991, a Certificate in Object Oriented Programming from New York University between 1996 and 1998, and a Yad Natan, Division of Technion in Agriculture Machinery Practical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 1981 and 1985.
