Laura Sloan

Laura Sloan is a seasoned professional in museum education and accessibility, currently serving as the Interpretation and Access Manager at the Guggenheim Museum since February 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Education Manager at Queens Museum from November 2021 to February 2023 and Accessibility Manager at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts from January 2020 to November 2021. Laura's extensive background also features positions at the Rubin Museum of Art, where responsibilities included Manager of Docent and Access Programs and Assistant Manager of Docent Programs. Earlier experiences encompass roles at HGR Group Insurance as Office Manager and Claims Coordinator, as well as various positions at The Rubin Museum of Art and an internship in the Medieval Art Department at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Art History and Museum Studies from The City College of New York and a Bachelor’s Degree in History & French from the University of Michigan.
