Theodore Nguyen-Cao

Theodore Nguyen-Cao has a diverse and extensive work experience. Theodore is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer/Co-founder at Guided Clinical Solutions since June 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at careviso (Formerly CMT Solutions) from June 2020 to June 2022, where they held the position of Vice President Of Engineering. In this role, they were responsible for building an industry-leading patient access platform and played a crucial role in transforming the company from a services company to a platform product development company.

Before their tenure at careviso, Theodore held various positions at Pascal Metrics from June 2012 to June 2020. Theodore initially joined as a Lead Software/SaaS Architect in March 2012 and later became the Vice President of Engineering in June 2015. At Pascal Metrics, they were involved in building software platforms to improve patient safety and designed and built an engineering team and platform to deliver the first multi-tenant SaaS platform for identifying and measuring patient safety in US hospitals.

Prior to that, they worked at Navstar as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2010 to March 2012, where they built a social business platform for the Intelligence Community. Theodore also has experience working as a Software Engineer at AddThis (formerly Clearspring Technologies) from June 2008 to October 2010 and as a Software Engineer/Systems Architect at kajeet, Inc. from January 2007 to June 2008.

Theodore started their career at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Software Engineer from June 2005 to January 2007, where they worked on a government R&D program focused on intelligence analysis. Theodore also served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech from August 2004 to December 2004, where they provided instruction to engineering students. Additionally, they gained experience as a Software Engineer (Intern) at Equant from May 2004 to August 2004, where they developed web-based tools for statistical analytics.

Theodore Nguyen-Cao obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance, although the exact date of acquisition is not specified.
