Sebastian Posada

Sebastian Posada is a seasoned digital copyeditor with substantial experience in editorial roles across various organizations. Currently employed at Guidepoint since December 2022, Sebastian specializes in copyediting client-generated interview transcripts and developing workflow guidelines. Previous experience includes a position as a Research and Editorial Assistant at Big Fish Media, where responsibilities included proofreading articles and drafting materials for multiple projects. Sebastian also served as a Writing Tutor at Pioneer Academics, a Copyediting Intern at The Ithaca Times, and progressed to Chief Copy Editor at The Ithacan, overseeing a team of copy editors and managing editorial processes. An academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Ithaca College and completion of the Columbia Publishing Course at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
