Brittney Talamonti M.ed.

Brittney Talamonti M.Ed. has worked in various roles and positions throughout their career. Their most recent position is at Guidepost Montessori as the Head of School, where they have been since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Swedish Hospital as an Associate Director of Operations from 2022 to 2023. Brittney also has experience at the Fisher Early Learning Center at the University of Denver, where they held multiple roles including Lead Infant Development Teacher and Early Intervention Specialist/Associate Infant Development Teacher from 2015 to 2022. Overall, Brittney has a strong background in education and leadership roles.

Brittney Talamonti M.Ed. obtained a Master of Early Childhood Special Education from The Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver, with a focus on Education/Teaching of Individuals in Early Childhood Special Education Programs. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Arizona, with a minor in Special Education and Rehabilitation. Brittney completed their high school education at Hinsdale Central High School.

In addition to their degrees, Brittney holds various certifications. Brittney is certified as a Director Level 1 by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, obtained in January 2023. Brittney also holds certifications in "Reducing the Risk of SIDS in Early Education and Childcare" from the American Academy of Pediatrics, "Pyramid Plus Approach: Social Emotional Competence and Inclusion Curriculum" from Pyramid Plus, and "Teaching Strategies Gold: Inter-rater Reliability for Preschool and Children with Disabilities" from Teaching Strategies, LLC, obtained in June 2017, May 2017, and May 2016 respectively. Furthermore, they are a certified Children's Yoga Instructor by the State of Colorado, obtained in January 2015. Brittney is also certified as an Elementary Education Teacher by the Arizona Department of Education.
