Pinky Fung

Assistant Head Of School at Guidepost Montessori

Pinky Fung has extensive experience in the early learning and education industry. In 2007, they started as an Educational Assistant at ESF International Kindergarten (Tsing Yi), where they assisted in leading small group activities and preparing teaching materials. Pinky then became a Teacher at ESF International Kindergarten (Wu Kai Sha) from 2009 to 2011. Pinky went on to work at Anfield International Kindergarten, first as a Teacher from 2011 to 2015, and then as the K1 Phase Leader from 2013 to 2015.

In 2016, Pinky joined Kew Kids Early Learning Centre as a Room Leader, responsible for managing a pre-kinder room and leading a team of educators. Pinky also played a key role in achieving an "Exceeding" outcome for the facility during the assessment and rating process.

Pinky then moved to Inspire Early Learning Journey (Preston Campus) in 2018, where they worked as an Educator for a year, planning and observing children's learning in the Montessori style. Pinky also completed a Diploma in Montessori teaching during this period.

Continuing with Inspire Early Learning Journey, Pinky took on the role of Administrative Officer in 2019, facilitating communication between the management team, educators, and families. Pinky handled administrative work, compliance documents, financial accounts, student enrollment, and assisted in organizing various school events.

In 2020, Pinky became the Campus Manager at Inspire Early Learning Journey, overseeing the daily operations of a service with a capacity of 135 students (Preston Campus) and later managing 94 students (Chadstone Campus). Pinky actively participated in marketing planning, student enrollments, and strategies to build occupancy for both existing and newly opened campuses.

Pinky's most recent role is Assistant Head of School at Guidepost Montessori, which they started in 2022.

Pinky Fung has a diverse education history. In 2002, they attended RMIT University where they pursued a Bachelor of Communication Design, focusing on Design and Applied Arts. After completing their degree in 2004, they furthered their education in the field of education. In 2007, Pinky enrolled at The Hong Kong Institute of Education to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma of Education, specifically focusing on Early Years Education. Pinky completed the program in 2009 and obtained a Certificate of Registration as a Teacher from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in the same year. More recently, in 2019, Pinky attended the North American Montessori Centre and obtained an Early Childhood Montessori Diploma, specializing in education for children aged 3 to 6 years old.
