Sabina Nguyen

Sabina Nguyen has a diverse range of work experience in the field of education. Sabina most recently worked as the Head of School at Guidepost Montessori starting in 2023. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they held the role of Director and Montessori teacher at Tinker Montessori. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Montessori/Reggio Emilia teacher at Villa Montessori. Additionally, Sabina had experience as a Montessori teacher-volunteer at Columbus Montessori Education Center from 2017 to 2018. Furthermore, they worked as a Montessori kindergarten teacher at Montessori Kindergarten from 2016 to 2017 and as an Academic Manager & STEAM Teacher at Tinker Labs from 2016 to 2017. Sabina also had brief stints as a kindergarten teacher at Kindergarten "Grlica" and Kindergarten "Radost" in 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as an ESL teacher at Smart International Corporation in 2015 and KOS English Centre in 2014.

Sabina Nguyen completed their high school education at the Secondary School of Economics and Administration in Osijek from 2000 to 2004, earning a high school diploma with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General. Sabina then pursued their higher education at the University of J.J.Strossmayer in Osijek, Croatia, from 2007 to 2010. During this time, they obtained a Professional Bachelor of Pre-School Education (bacc.pead.) with a specialization in Pedagogy of early and pre-school education. In 2016 and 2017, Sabina attended the MEPI (Montessori Educational Programs International) and obtained an MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education) Diploma in Montessori Teacher Education and special education teacher. Currently, they are enrolled in the AMS (American Montessori Society) Teacher Instructor Academy, expected to complete their Montessori Teacher Instructor degree by 2023.
