Matthew Wharton

Matthew Wharton is the current President of Strategic Accounts at Guidepost Solutions. Matthew has over 20 years of experience in the security and technology consulting industry. Matthew began their career in 1998 when they launched MVW Consultants, a global consulting firm specializing in physical security and operational security for high-technology clients. In 2002, MVW was acquired by SafirRosetti, and Wharton became the Senior Managing Director and Head of TDC Practice. Matthew was responsible for key consulting engagements, overall business plan execution, acquisitions and organic growth. In 2010, they left SafirRosetti to join Guidepost Solutions.

They are on a team with Stephanie Douglas - President, National Security Practice, Anthony M. Collura - Chief Legal Officer, COO, Board Member & Secretary, and Thomas A. McShane - President, Investigations and Monitoring. Matthew Wharton reports to Julie Myers Wood, Chief Executive Officer.
