Charlie Joseph

EVP, Corporate Affairs & Chief Legal Officer at GuideWell

Charlie Joseph is executive vice president, corporate affairs and chief legal officer for GuideWell and Florida Blue. Joseph is accountable for leading the company’s corporate affairs group, which includes: Board Governance; Business Assurance; Business Ethics, Integrity and Compliance; Enterprise Communications; Legal Affairs; and Public Affairs and Community Engagement. He also serves as the senior legal advisor to management and the Board of Directors on a wide range of matters.

He currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the River Garden Hebrew Home, an elder care facility in Jacksonville, Fla., and as a member of the boards of directors of Jewish Family & Community Services and the Jacksonville Symphony.

Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Hamilton College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is a member of the Bars of the State of New York and the District of Columbia, and is certified as Authorized House Counsel under Chapter 17, Rules Regulating the Florida Bar.
