Emmanuel Kimachas CEM® has worked in various roles since 2014. Emmanuel began their career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Andromina Technology Limited. In 2014, they moved to LEAN ENERGY SOLUTIONS LTD as an Energy Engineer, where they were tasked with carrying out EPRA accredited energy audits (IGA and GEA) and leading field service operations in four boiler sites. In 2015, they joined Dawa Limited as a Plant Electrical Engineer, where they carried out Electrical tender evaluation, Electrical circuit upgrade and overhaul, developed weekly preventive maintenance of all pharmaceutical and utility equipment, was on-call Engineer for troubleshooting & repairs on electronics/PLC controls, developed weekly status reports to the Chief Operations Officer, and ensured energy measures were implemented in the plant. Emmanuel then moved to NegaWatt Ltd as an Energy & Projects Lead Engineer, where they were tasked with leading field service operations and developing company-client relationships. In 2019, they joined Enigys Ltd as an Engineering Manager, where they were tasked with leading all field service operations, procurement, logistics, storage, installation, testing and commissioning of all LV/MV Systems, leading electrical safety audits (ESA) & Power Quality Analysis (PQA), and leading in delivery of EPRA/international accredited energy audits. Most recently, in 2021, Emmanuel joined Guidewheel as a Technical Account Manager, where they guide East Africa Customers to value through engineering support/training. Emmanuel's daily tasks include developing and carrying out of training on manufacturing metrics; OEE, EI, Runtime, Performance and Quality, and carrying out large data analytics on machine and production accuracy.
Emmanuel Kimachas holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nairobi, which they obtained in 2013. In 2017, they obtained a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification from the Association of Energy Engineers. In October 2013, they obtained a Graduate Engineer certification from the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK). In November 2020, they obtained a Solar T3 Technician certification from the Energy & Petroleum Regulatory Authority. In February 2021, they obtained a Class A Energy Auditor certification from the Energy & Petroleum Regulatory Authority. In March 2021, they obtained an EPRA Class A1 Electrician certification from the Energy & Petroleum Regulatory Authority.
