Alex Prajescu

Alex Prajescu, FCAS, is a seasoned professional in the actuarial and data science fields with extensive experience in product management and analytics. Currently serving as Principal Product Manager at Guidewire Software since October 2021, Alex previously held key roles at Aviva Canada, including Actuarial & Data Science Manager/Product Owner and Technical Manager, where leadership in data-driven pricing projects and significant improvements in model performance were achieved. Additional experience includes managerial positions at Minuto Seguros overseeing Business Intelligence, as well as senior and analytical roles at Intact Financial Corporation. Alex holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Mathematics from Concordia University and an earlier degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.
