Monica Shavers-Tesfay

Monica Shavers-Tesfay currently serves as a Senior Manager in both Partnership Implementation Management and Marketplace Management at Guild, starting in September 2023, while also holding the position of Associate Board Member at HighView since January 2024. With an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where Monica was actively involved as Co-President of both the Berkeley Haas Consortium and the Black Business Student Association, as well as serving on the DEI Leadership Board, achievements include semifinalist placements in major case competitions and leading client-facing consulting projects. Previous experience includes a Leadership Effectiveness MBA internship at American Express and various roles in Marketplace Delivery at Guild Education, where Monica managed corporate and academic partnership implementations, as well as serving as a Private Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan, advising high-net-worth clients. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance & Real Estate Finance from Colorado State University.
