Nick Westwood has extensive work experience in the media and entertainment industry. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Presenter/Producer for ITN, where they covered major events such as the Ratko Mladic/Karadzic trials and the Arab Spring. NICK also worked as a Presenter/Reporter for ITN Entertainment, covering movie premieres and awards shows. In 2011, Westwood joined Sky as a Digital Executive Producer/Commissioner, focusing on US acquisitions and major entertainment commissions. NICK also worked on various shows for Sky 1. Westwood later joined Sting Media as the Head of Development/Executive Producer, leading original format development and overseeing content production. NICK worked on projects such as "UFC Breakdown." Westwood also held roles as the Head of Content Development for FACTORY FILMS, the Head of Original Content and Programming for Awesomeness, and the Head of Original Content and Programming for OTRO. In 2019, they became the Managing Director of RYFX Media, a production company specializing in factual programming, particularly in sports and esports. Most recently, Westwood has taken on the role of SVP Creative and Strategy at Guild Esports.
Nick Westwood completed their education at City, University of London and the University of Exeter. From 2006 to 2007, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Current Affairs Journalism with a specialization in Broadcast Journalism at City, University of London. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law at the University of Exeter.
