Dr. Kenya Smith

Dr. Kenya Smith has extensive experience in educational leadership and instructional design within Guilford County Schools, serving as Manager of Learning and Development Instructional Design-Assistant Principal since August 2012. In this role, Dr. Smith utilizes collaboration and project management skills to develop impactful learning solutions and instructional materials tailored for adult learners. Previously, as a Learning and Development Instructional Designer and Curriculum Facilitator, as well as a Middle School Teacher from October 2002 to June 2012, Dr. Smith designed e-learning content and conducted extensive training programs. Dr. Smith holds a Doctor of Education and Specialist degrees in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, along with a Master of Education in School Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
