Gabrielle Brown

Gabrielle Brown currently serves as the Director of Media Relations at Guilford County Schools since June 2022, following a role as a Media Relations Specialist. Gabrielle also operates as a Freelance Multimedia Specialist, focusing on brand and marketing strategies, SEO-focused websites, and engaging content creation for small business clients since March 2019. Prior experience includes positions at WGHP from May 2016 to June 2022 as a Producer, where responsibilities included writing community-oriented news stories, training new hires, and leading content meetings. Gabrielle worked at Tribune Media as a News Producer, collaborating on newscast segments and mentoring associate producers. Early experience includes an internship at TCP Magazine during summer 2015. Gabrielle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Winston-Salem State University, completed in 2016.
