Geoffrey Butler

Geoffrey Butler is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as an ESOL Teacher at Guilford County Schools since October 2020, Geoffrey has designed district-wide teaching and assessment materials while conducting standards-based academic lessons. Prior experience includes roles as Head Teacher and Full-time Instructor at INTERLINK Language Centers, where Geoffrey mentored new instructors and taught intensive academic English. Geoffrey also served as an Assistant Professor and Academic Coordinator at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, contributing to the design and evaluation of language courses. Additional teaching experience spans various institutions and countries, including Costa Rica and the Peace Corps. Geoffrey holds an MA in TESOL from the School for International Training and a BA in Classical Studies from the University of Virginia.
