Matthew Knight is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various high-profile roles within the publishing and entertainment industries. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Guinness World Records since November 2020, Matthew oversees legal matters related to the EMEA and APAC regions. Previously, Matthew held positions as General Counsel at Antenna International, where responsibilities included providing comprehensive legal advice to senior management, and as General Counsel (FTC) for Time Out Group, leading the legal team and offering strategic guidance for business development. Matthew's legal expertise encompasses a vast array of commercial, intellectual property, and data protection issues, demonstrated through previous roles with Bloomsbury Publishing, Penguin Books, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and as a Trainee Solicitor at Denton Wilde Sapte. Matthew holds a degree in Music Composition from Durham University.
