Sanjay Bhatt

Sanjay Bhatt serves as Company Secretary and Chief General Manager of Legal and Corporate Communication at Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited since July 2011, overseeing legal and corporate governance for a company with a significant sales turnover exceeding Rs. 3000 crores in FY 2018-19. Prior to this role, Sanjay Bhatt was the Company Secretary and Head of Legal at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited from December 2007 to July 2011, managing corporate secretarial and legal issues for the group companies. Educational qualifications include pursuing FCG in Corporate Laws from The Chartered Governance Institute of Canada, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, an Associate CMA from The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India, and a Company Secretary degree from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, along with a Master of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
